14th annual Three Rivers Ferret Follies & SHOW!
South Park - Silent Brook Barn — September 19, 2010 — 11am - 5pm

Ferrets from all over the tri-state area will be doing the ferret dance of joy in South Park on Sunday, September 19th at the Silent Brook Barn (across from the Skating Rink). This annual event draws ferret lovers together for food, games, a gigantic raffle, and of course lots of ferrets! Join us for a fun day — rain or shine!!

This year we will have a small ferret show; "Specialty" rings including Chocolate, Sable, Albino, Senior and more. Pre-registration is suggested for specialty show. To pre-register, please print out the last page of this document, fill it out, and send it in as directed.

Lunch: Please bring a food contribution for the potluck picnic. To help us plan, please register your dish. Just click on “Add a new item” and tell us what you're bringing!

Admission: $4.00 members, $5.00 non-members (admission includes 3 free raffle tickets). We accept credit cards, cash and checks.

Raffle Ticket Costs: $1 each or 7 tickets for $5. Items over $20 value: $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. There will also be a 50/50 raffle; tickets cost $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Persons wishing to donate to our raffle can download the donation form HERE.

Fun Match Cost: 1 ticket per match, tickets cost $1.00 each. Games will include:

• The Great Sock Escape: Each ferret will be placed in a sock (up to the shoulders); the fastest and slowest ferret to escape will be rewarded.
  
• Flower Pot Excavation: Does your ferret have a green "paw"? The first to completely remove their flower from the pot will be the winner.
  
• Paper Bag Escape: The fastest and slowest ferret to emerge from his/her paper bag will be declared the winner in this competition.
  
• Cup Tip Surprise: A series of plastic cups (with a surprise inside) will be arranged for your ferret to let loose. The ferret to tip over the most cups in 60 seconds is the winner.
  
• Matchbox Car Races: Matchbox cars will be arranged on a track, the ferret to push their car the furthest (with the help of a treat) down the track will win.
  
• Chariots of Fire: Ferrets will be pulled in their chariot to the finish line. Ferrets get to keep their chariot (aka box with string).
  
• Costume Contest: One of the most enjoyable games for the humans, dressing up their darling ferrets in embarrassing, but oh-so-cute costumes. Put your imagination to work and see if you can win the crowd's vote.
  

Ribbons are awarded to the top finishers for each game and the winner receives a special gift.

IMPORTANT: Please use your own discretion and common sense when bringing your ferrets to any public event. Sick and/or elderly ferrets should stay home.
